Migrant Justice – Milk with Dignity Rally

On September 21, 2023 Sister Susan Fortier and four Mercy Associates participated a Milk with Dignity rally at the Hanniford’s Supermarket in South Burlington, Vermont.  This was just one of several events planned in a Month of Action by Migrant Justice.  They are trying to get Hanniford’s to sign an agreement that pledges that they will only buy milk and dairy products from farms that provide a living wage, days off, and decent living conditions.   This is in line with our Critical Concern for Migrants.
