  Joanne is in Hospice Care at home.  She has just developed Pneumonia in the right lung.  Please pray for her at this time.  Joanne is the sister of Sr. Helen Lucille Habig.

  On June 9 Sister felt like something ruptured in her chest and had excruciating pain.  She went to the hospital, where they did several tests and they dismissed her since personnel were unavailable the next two days for additional testing.  She has had extensive tests, but they do not find anything.  She continues to have pain and discomfort.  Please pray they find the cause.  Thank you, Sr. Helen Lucille Habig.

  I ask prayers for JoAnn and Fred Fox who are struggling with dementia and anxiety.

  I ask prayers for Rose Adamescy, 100 years old who recently entered Hospice Care.

  I ask prayers for Jerry who has entered Hospice Care.

  Steve lives in South Dakota and recently had surgery for esophageal cancer that has spread. He is suffering greatly with many complications and was put on a ventilator on July 4th. He is the brother of a friend.  Kelly Sheridan, Mercy Associate.

  Please pray for Joseph Falcone who has gone on Hospice.  He is the father of Nick and Joe, both Waldron graduates and Falicia (RIP) a Merion Mercy graduate.  Thank you, Kathleen Hinckle.

  Please pray for my sister-in-law, Megan Leis, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is 34 years old and 8 months pregnant. Thank you, Associate Elizabeth Leis Moyerman.

  Please pray for my friend and colleague, Marilyn Dinges. Marilyn has metastatic cancer and is undergoing chemo with difficulty. Marilyn served the sick as an RN in Mercy Hospital San Francisco.  Thank you, Associate Adele Dunnigan.

  Praying for a successful move to Dorchester for my daughters.  Thank you, Associate Maura Bellanger.

  For my cousin Connie Savage, who is in a great deal of pain from cancer and peace for her and her family as her journey here is coming to an end. For my husband’s cousin Deb Quistorff, who has just found out that the cancer is back for the 4th time.  Thank you, Associate Shannon Quistorff.

  Would you please pray for Ron Gross, dear friend of mine in Long Beach, Mississippi?  He has been hospitalized with osteomyelitis, a very serious bone infection, and treatment is tricky.  His wife is Nora Gross, my best friend from high school and someone deeply appreciative of the Sisters of Mercy in their lives.  Thank you.    Sister Lee Ann McNally, RSM.

  Please pray for Mariah Deel, she has stage 4 cancer, it is a very rare cancer and therefore not much research has been done.  Thank you, Pat Lenhart.

  –  Logan, who is a 27-year-old young man just diagnosed with a brain tumor.

  –  Debbie, who suffered a stroke several months ago. In the past 35 days she has been experiencing daily headaches and is scheduled for a CT Angiogram.

  Dear Sisters and Associates, the death of Shirley O’Donnell was in the paper today.  Her wake will be Sunday July 2 at Buszka Funeral Home at Union Road West Seneca from 3-7pm.  We will have a prayer Service at 4pm., at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be Monday July 3 AT 14 HOLY HELPERS AT 10:00AM.   Also at this time I am asking for prayers for Phyllis Petre with heart issues at Buffalo General and Joanne Wlodarczy with heart issues at Buffalo Mercy Hospital.  Please keep our Associates and Sisters in your prayers.  Blessings, Sr. Marilyn.

  Please pray for peace and strength for Crys Roeder as she begins chemotherapy for cancer, and for her husband, Randy, who is the main caregiver. Crys and Randy are friends of Belmont staff member Paul Bond.

  My daughter Erin is having open heart/lung surgery 6/27 out in San Diego… please pray for her successful surgery and complete recovery…pray for the staff at USCSD Health Center and a safe return home… thank you, Mercy Associate Trudy Traynor.

  Please pray for my son, Amil Werr, is going through a very trying and stressful situation.  And, my sister, Mejika San Millan, has an extremely difficult time finding a place to live for her and her grown children.  She lives far away from family and has few if any friends. She has financial, health and emotional problems.  Thank you so much for holding my family in prayer at this difficult time. God bless you!  Bethsy San Millan.

  Hello All, it is with great sadness that we advise Mercy Associate Mary Butler of Charlotte, NC, has fought a good fight. A few weeks ago, we advised she was placed in Palliative Care. We received information that she passed Saturday June 24, 2023. Mary was an associate for over 28 years.  Please continue to hold Mary, her family, her friends, sisters and associates close to her in your heart during this time.
