  We pray in thanksgiving for the life of Sister Ellen Glavey, RSM, who died August 7, 2023, in Brentwood, New York. A Sister of Mercy for 64 years, she was 84 years old.

  Funeral services will be at Sisters of Mercy Convent, 22-04 Parsons Blvd., Whitestone, New York, as follows.

  Friday, August 11
  Wake to start at 2 p.m., with Remembrance beginning at 2:30 p.m.

  Saturday, August 12
  Funeral is at 9:30 a.m.

  Burial will be following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn.
