    We pray in thanksgiving for the life of Sister Kathleen Sweeney, RSM, who died November 6, 2024, in Buffalo, New York. A Sister of Mercy for 60 years, she was 83 years old.

    The Welcoming Prayer Service for Sr. Kathleen Sweeney is on Thursday, November 14th at 2 PM in the large parlor.
    Visitation will be from 3 PM to 6:30 PM followed by a sharing of memories in the dining room at 6:45 PM.
    The Funeral Mass will Friday, November 15th at 10 AM in the Mercy Center Chapel.
    The funeral procession will proceed to Holy Cross Cemetery, special prayers will be offered at the mausoleum.

    Lunch will be served in the dining room.

    10:30 a.m.: “Welcome Home” service
    11:30 a.m.: Funeral liturgy

    Burial at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ following the Funeral.

    Funeral arrangements are being managed by Higgins Home for Funerals.
